Scripture text and original commentary

Quoted Bible text is from the public-domain King James Version. Those quotations are distinct from the original explanations, introductions, verse insights, applications, questions, and prayers published by Scripture Guide Online. We do not claim authorship or ownership of the biblical text.

How content is prepared

Topics are selected for their usefulness in understanding a passage, doctrine, or practical question. Before publication, quotations and references are checked against the KJV, surrounding passages are reviewed for context, and relevant cross-references are considered.

Theological and factual statements are checked against the biblical material being discussed and are written to avoid exaggeration, sensationalism, and claims that the passage does not support.

Editorial standards

Drafts move through a deliberate review process before they are made public.

  • Scripture quotations and references are checked against the KJV.
  • Surrounding biblical context is reviewed.
  • Relevant cross-references are considered.
  • Explanations are reviewed for clarity, readability, and completeness.
  • Practical application should be supported by the passages discussed.
  • Unnecessary overlap with existing articles is reviewed.
  • Content must pass Scripture Guide Online’s internal publication safeguards.
  • A final editorial review is required before publication.

These are Scripture Guide Online's internal editorial standards. They are not requirements issued by Google or another platform.
